Thanks Graig. I needed to read this today. Too many of us are cowering in fear. I'll get back on the phone this week.

I already commented a lot on the FB post u shared this on. But I always have more...the Democrats need strong leaders too. You sound like the person to take that lead in Raleigh. Talk to them individually about what you've written here. Historically the Republican party has been full of bullies. Do you know the story of Lester Hunt? Rachel Maddow speaks of him in season 2 of her podcast Ultra. Look him up. This is the turning point in history for democrats to stand TOGETHER & fight together. Look at what the colleges are doing! Banking together to fight together like a NATO. Attacks on 1 are Attacks on all. If those law firms stood together none of them would be doing millions of dollars of fee legal services for FOTUS. The republican party is successful at bullying & the use of attack ads & taking democrat seats because they work like a pack on a hunt. Take this back to your fellow democrats here in NC. I will accept the assignment & I will contact every one of them from Governor to AG to senators & representatives. If I can I will also see if I can organize a group to visit them in office on Jones St like my NC Women for Cannabis did some years ago.

Thank you. I have been looking for strong local leadership. I know that pushing back could mean losing your job or career. But that is what is happening anyway for a lot of us in your district.

You continue to model what true public service and adherence to our loftiest ideals look like in action. We applaud and fully support your courageous work. Others should take heed as a legacy of capitulation will forever shame them and will ultimately hurt those they promise to serve (loss of savings, resources, health, strong local public education, equal protection under the law,and faith in goodness are a steep price for temporary political power.)

Thank you, Graig.

I am planning to be at an event this week in NC, where I will speak to our Governor, and will be talking to several Governors across the country later in May.

I could not agree more with what you’re saying here.

Now is the time to choose your country over your job … no matter how it feels to lose power and position. Which is essentially what I was pretty adamant about with Senator Chris Murphy at a conference in DC earlier this month. I’ve been befuddled and alarmed at the lack of backbone in Congress. You’ve illuminated some of the reasons why his colleagues may not be stepping forward.

I’ve been working with folks who are afraid of losing more than their reputations, even their livelihood, and in some cases, lives have been threatened, and yet they still stand tall. So that’s hope

Senator Murphy has been courageously stepping up so I’m very happy he’ll be in NC standing with you, Anderson, who is courageous and inspiring, and others. That’s quite a coup … the good kind.

We will have to find a way to find the money for relief if it means that with that assurance our Governor can stand up to the pressure. I think it’s the Governors who will make a critical difference with their ability to have enforcement power. We must find a way to support them in this stand for the law.

Hope to see you around the trail soon. I’ll pass this on. Also feel free to tune into my YouTube channel : BehindTheCurtainIMO You’ll find mutually congruent themes there, and perhaps new information to support this effort.
